After a short break during Week 4, we continued west on our journey to several stops in Arizona and California. We visited a children’s home in Mesa, Arizona that operates without any fundraising or government funding — they say it’s by faith. In Los Angeles we experienced a night of karaoke with homeless men and women on Skid Row, and connected with a church that met on the beach.
